GBRust uses optional visitor analytics to understand how people use the website and improve it. Contact admin@gbrust.com about this use of your information or to request access or deletion. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Your choice

Individual visitor analytics starts only after you accept. Declining does not affect login, account linking or membership features. Your choice applies to this browser and is remembered for 180 days. You can withdraw permission here at any time; withdrawal stops future collection but does not automatically delete earlier records.

Anonymous choice totals

When you submit Accept or Decline, we add one to an anonymous daily total for that choice, including repeat submissions or changes of choice. These totals contain no IP address, account ID, visitor identifier or browsing history. Ignoring the message is not counted. These separate consent-management totals do not enable visitor analytics and are counted even when you decline. Our scheduled cleanup removes totals older than 30 days.

What optional analytics records

With your consent, we record page paths, visit times, referring website domains, country where available, and a daily visitor reference derived from your session. Signed-in visits can be linked to your GBRust account and Steam profile in our restricted administrator dashboard. We use your browser's user-agent to estimate automated traffic. Query strings and full referring URLs are not retained in these records.

We rely on consent for this optional analytics. Our scheduled cleanup is configured to remove visit records older than 30 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also prevent collection, even if you previously accepted.

Providers and cookies

If country lookup is configured, your IP address is sent to IPinfo to obtain your country. It is not saved in the analytics visit table. See IPinfo's privacy policy. Website data is hosted using IONOS. Essential server security and operational logs are separate from optional visitor analytics.

The gbrust_analytics_consent cookie stores your choice, its date and the notice version for 180 days. It is used only to remember your preference. The Laravel session cookie supports login and sessions; XSRF-TOKEN supports request security; admin_session maintains administrator login for up to eight hours. Essential cookies continue to work when analytics is declined.
